Joby Mathew won 3 Gold Medals and a silver Medal at World Dwarf games 2013

Joby Mathew is a disabled person who is basically from Ernakulam , Kerala which is a part of India . He is having sixty percent disability since his birth. But that didn't stop him in achieving his goals Joby Mathew, a man who did not allowed severe disabilities to come in the way of his ambitions, has won a gold medal at the World Arm Wrestling Championship. Mathew has also won 10 world medals in the last one decade.

Joby Mathew suffers from Bilateral Proximal Femoral Focal Deficiency or in simpler terms stunted growth of the legs since birth, has been a World Arm Wrestling champion twice. What his legs could not, he has achieved with his arms and a bundle of raw courage and grit .

Recently the largest sporting event in history exclusively for athletes with dwarfism has been conducted which is termed as World Dwarf games 2013. The Event is conducted from August 3 to August 10, 2013 at Michigan State University, East Lansing, MI, USA and was Hosted by the Dwarf Athletic Association of America . Joby Mathew participated in different categories in the World Dwarf games 2013. Due to his dedication towards his goal , He succeeded in the Dwarf games 2013 by winning 3 Gold Medals and a silver Medal . He won 3 Gold Medals in the categories of  Shot put , javelin throw , discus throw and got silver medal in Badminton . He thanked all his supporters and expressed happiness as he said "i have done good job for my country so i am very happy"
