Andhra Pradesh State Revenue Department has announced the schedule for filling 1675 VRO posts and 4305 VRA posts with the AP VRO, VRA Notification 2013-2014. AP State Cabinet Minister Mr. Raghuveera Reddy officially released the schedule. Andhra Pradesh VRO, VRA Notification 2013-2014 will be issued on 28th December 2013. The District Wise Vacancies in VRO, VRA will be available in the Notification. AP VRO, VRA Online Application Registration will begin from 28th December 2013 and ends on 15th January 2014.

Hall Tickets will be available for download from 19th January 2014 and the Examination is scheduled on 2nd February 2014. The recruitment process will be completed by February end.

AP VRO / VRA Total Vacancy details:

Post Name: Village Revenue Officer (VRO), Village Revenue Assistants (VRA)
Available Vacancies: VRA- 4305, VRO- 1657 (Total 5962)

Eligibility Criteria:

For VRO Post: The minimum Qualification for appearing VRO exam is Candidate must have passed Intermediate with 60%
For VRA Post: The candidate must pass his 10th class with 60%

Age Limit:

For VRO Post: The candidate's minimum age limit is 18 Years and Maximum is 36 Years of age. Age relaxation for SC / ST / BC is 5 Years. However, the qualifying age for Persons with disabilities (PWD) is 46 Years.
For VRA Post: The Candidates Minimum age limit is 18 Years and Maximum is 37 Years. Age relaxation for SC / ST / BC is 5 Years. However, the qualifying age for Persons with disabilities (PWD) is up to 47 Years.

Application Fee for VRO and VRA Exam :

The general Candidates who are willing to apply for VRO / VRA Posts have to pay Rs.300/- and SC/ ST Candidates have to pay Rs.150/- as application fee. Persons with Disabilities (PWD) are exempted from fee payment.

Mode of Examination for VRO & VRA Exam:

The VRO & VRA Examination is Objective Type. The Question Paper consists of Multiple Choice Questions given in Telugu, Hindi, Urdu Languages. The total marks for this exam are 100 marks.
General Studies - 60 Mark
Arithmetic - 30 Marks
Logic and Reasoning - 10 Marks.
The Candidates who have qualified in written examination will be informed to attend the Certificate Verification from 26th February 2014
