Story:

The story begins with the song intro of Rock Star Gautham (Mahesh Babu) who was facing mental disorder and imagine things that were not happening around him. Sameera (Kriti Sanon) was a News Reporter who finds the problems faced by the Gautham and tries to help him. The whole story revolves around him to know whether the things happening around him are real or it's just an imagination.

Performances:

Mahesh Babu as Rock Star done a fabulous job in the role. He played a mature role and completely different from his previous flicks. The audience will be delighted with the way Mahesh babu carried the emotions in between the scenes. Coming to his Dance performance even though the steps were good but he can't manage his facial expressions in those movements. Kriti Sanon as reporter done a good job and she completely draws the attention of the viewers with her glamour. Kriti Sanon Performance is a clear identity for her bright future in Tollywood. She will definitely make her mark in the Tollywood with her amazing performance and glamour. Because the movie all goes in between the hero and heroine there is not much scope to the villains in the movie. The supporting roles Posani Krishna Murali, Shinde was not fit into their characters.

Technical Aspects:

Director Sukumar will be appreciated for his guts in choosing such a difficult subject and storyline. But he failed to execute it. The screenplay was not good and a bit confusing which may irritate the most audiences. The production values were very high and not compromised in the budget. We can see the richness in every frame and every visual. The cinematography has done an excellent job which makes us treat the movie in a range of Hollywood levels. The songs were not placed in the right places but picturized well. The BGM and songs composed by D.S.P were good. The BGM added much strength to most of the scenes in the movie.

Analysis:

The first half of the movie goes with the confusion around the minds of the viewers. And because of the lengthy runtime and lack of highlights in the movie will make the audience to feel boredom. The Sentiment scenes in the climax were good. The Action Scenes and bike chases in the movie will also impress the audience.Sukumar has chosen a complicated script that has requires high efforts to make it a success but he failed to do that so. Even most of the scenes in the hero & Heroine were not executed well enough. The only thing if you want to watch the movie was the lead pair, Mahesh & Kriti Sanon.
