The people of Kerala are under worst situation facing the most terrible floods ever that resulted in hundreds dead and thousands homeless. Heavy rainfall in Karnataka is posing problems for the citizens of the state and many have been shifted to relief camps the Indian Army and relief agencies. People not only from India, but all around the world are giving helping hands to the people and fulfilling at least the basic needs.
The state government and central government are leaving no stone unturned in making sure that help reaches to every flood victim. The governments of UAE and Qatar have also donated a good amount to help the flood victims.
Meanwhile, Karnataka’s PWD minister HD Revanna also visited a relief camp in Ramanathapura in Hassan district. A video of his visit is going viral on social media in which he was seen throwing biscuit packets at people who were expecting him to listen to their problems. The netizens aren't happy seeing the video and termed the Minister’s conduct insensitive and arrogant.
Coming to the defence of his brother, Karnataka's Chief Minister Kumaraswamy said Revanna's act was not out of 'arrogance'. "I have noticed that the issue has come in TV, don't take him otherwise. I have crosschecked... while distributing the biscuits, there were large number of people there and there was no place for movement," he told reporters.

According to a report on his father's uncharitable act, son Prajwal Revanna called up the reporter saying that he will tender an apology on behalf of the PWD minister. "It was unintentional. My father is always humble. He was in a hurry on that day. I apologize for his act," Prajwal said.
