Most of the students coming up with new ideas to recycle the waste products in recent times. Here we should know about 2 students from Kanpur came with the new innovative business idea. They came to reuse waste flowers from temples in different ways.Whose names are Ankit Agarwal and Karan Rastogi. They both are close friends since childhood. What they will do with those waste flowers like who lefts flowers after celebrations like offerings? These people will gather those flowers from the water and remove bacteria and fungi from that materials. By doing so they will make biodegradable products. Non-toxic thermocol, which means products made from waste flowers named as a floral foam. This is the world’s first Non-Toxic thermocol.
They both got this new innovative idea in 2015 only. They’re neglected to continue this process. But, a man who is a friend of Ankit came to visit Kanpur to meet him. At that time they both watched devotees gather around the banks of the Ganga to dip into the river, collect the water in containers, and even drink deep right there. Ankit’s friend, however, was worried about how sanitary that was, given that devotees were also releasing flowers into the river as offerings, and trucks w1ere offloading waste flowers from nearby temples on the banks. They both quit their corporate jobs in order to do this business full time. For the startup, both of them have collected 72000 from savings. Then they will collect tons of waste flowers from the river with the help of temple volunteers. They did like this for some months. After that, they create own production facility in their own village Kanpur. From which they didn’t see back and collected 5 tons of waste flowers in each day from all temples around the city.
For their new business, they named as Phool and expecting revenue up to 8 crores on this Diwali itself. Because for Diwali celebrations, the lot of devotes go to temples and they will offer flowers in water.
In August this year, the duo floated another company, Kanpur Flower Cycle, with a new 20,000 sq. ft factory in Bhaunti. Another new product is in the pipeline: florafoam to replace thermocol. Help Us Green has brought respectability to more than 200 informal "scavengers"-usually women from lower castes. Earning a measly Rs 10 a day earlier, now they earn at least Rs 200.
This is the great idea by these two students. All the best for these guys for their upcoming business.
