The actress's sister-in-law, named Shrima Rai is a successful beauty blogger, fashionista, wonderful mother of two and also Mrs World 2009. As a part of in her interactive Instagram channel, she has a separate slot for Question and Answers. The place where her followers can ask her about various things she is related to.
In one such a Q&A session recently, a user had asked her a question about Aishwarya Rai. "How did you tell your kids their aunt (Aish) is so famous?". To which, Shrima Rai instantly replied, "That is never a topic in my house. She is 'Gulu Maami' at home."
Aishwarya is known for her simplicity and for her humble nature. A down-to-earth person with a constant sunshine of a smile.

After the above movie, Aishwarya will be next seen in a movie named 'Gulab Jamun'. In response to the media about her next screen appearance, she said, "I agreed on it early last year. At that time, Abhishek had taken a small break to review his work. It was a good move because I think every professional should do that".
Aishwarya is now getting ready for her other movies. She plans on doing a few remakes. In her words, "I had asked the makers of the surrogacy story (Jasmine) for a rewrite. There were two remakes-Woh Kaun Thi and Raat Aur Din which were interesting ideas. I respect the movies of those times (the '60s). So, I asked them to get their rights in place".
