In a recent Live-athon conducted by Facebook in its Mumbai office, many known and popular celebrities shared their experiences on Cyberbullying and trolling. The perils of being out in the open and being always in the eyes of the media are thus shared.
Priyanka Chopra, Ishaan Khatter, Jahnvi Kapoor, Diljith Dosanjh, Ayushmann Khurrana, Mallika Dua, Bhuvan Bham etc were involved in panel discussions on the trolling epidemic on social media. They get trolled, get threatened, get insulted and abused over the internet for various reasons. These timid, faceless comments and trolls are given more coverage than any other good positive comments.
The trolls can not go unaffecting people. Even the strongest person, can be hurt at some point in time, by going through the comments. Here are some Bollywood Celebrities who are staying away from Social media platforms. Or sometimes refraining themselves from constant usage.

- Imran Khan- The actor has an Instagram account, has about 790k followers but still is a very inactive person. He does not share his daily or frequent activities, nor does he share his face. Random movie and direction related things are shared.
- Sai Ali Khan- The Nawab Of Pataudi joined the Instagram after his son introduced him to it. Such a big star has only about 233k followers. He shares his personal pictures but is very rarely seen on the media.
- Ranbir Kapoor- The Kapoor family is always on social media sharing with us their glaring journeys and days. But in all those generations of actors, he does not seem to enjoy much.
- Kangana Ranaut- Actress who is bold in her words and her actions, with unquivering attitude is also not a social media friendly person. Having a straightforward mouth, she surely would not resort to sitting behind a screen.
- Vidya Balan- Emerging out as a great performer and a stunning artist, Vidya also has no inclination towards such platforms. When asked she quickly responds, "I would rather talk to a person than sending a message". True that.
- Rani Mukherjee- Once in an interview she said, that she does not indulge in interacting with others as she is not fond of talking to strangers. Her husband, Aditya Chopra also is of the same kind, staying away from social media.
- Aishwarya Rai Bachchan- The humbleness of the actress is seen here too. She is not near any Tweet. Unlike her husband Abhishek and her Father-in-law Amitabh Bachchan, she stays away from this.
- Katrina Kaif- 'Kamli' has tons of fans who would want to see her pictures, just for their sake she occasionally posts few pics to keep them engaged. Only Instagram though.
- Kajol- The dusky bright actress, is also away from social media. In a recent trial on joining Instagram, she got trolled by her own daughter who introduced her to the App.
- Kareena Kapoor Khan- Being mean is her forte, and she does not tolerate people nosing into her private life. She might be a little bit active than Saif but both are not much active. Privacy respected.
