Revenue Authorities have seized the Actor Prabhas's Properties around the Outskirts of Hyderabad. His guest house and other private properties have been seized by the revenue officials citing that they were Government Lands not out for sale. By the recent order from the Supreme Court, an entire 84 acres of land now, as stated by the officials come under Government Property. Prabhas had filed an affidavit regarding this issue of sudden seize.
The Hyderabad High Court has urged the Government of Telangana to respond to the Actor's Case filing by a counter affidavit. Rayadurgam, an area located at the outskirts of Hyderabad had many of the Actor's properties. His Guest House, Acres of land were all seized by the revenue officials.
The revenue officials did so with the reason stating a recent revamped Supreme Court order. Which might have changed few rules and now all of this actor's properties which were bought before the rule change falls under Government Property. Citing which the officials took action.
The 'Baahubali' Actor Prabhas, has filed a petition challenging the officer's action against him. He did so officially in his full name, Uppalapati Venkata Satyanarayana Prabhas Raju. The petition he filed was seriously questioning the officials' action without giving him prior notice.
The revenue authorities have not served him a notice before seizing his properties. They rushed to the spot and did so immediately, not even informing the actor-owner of it. The actor has said in his petition that he had purchased the land in the year 2005, after which he had completely paid the fees for regularisation of the land.
Hyderabad High Court has heard the petition. On examining the situation, it had put the whole land in its 'Status Quo' situation. It also ordered the State Government to file a counter affidavit on this issue to further look into the matter. No property which was already constructed was damaged or destroyed by the officials.
Court has given time to the State Government till December 24th to file a counter-petition, explaining their course of action and reason out the Actor's petition. The next hearing is scheduled for December 31st.
