The man named, Mitesh Patel was having an affair with another man despite being married to Jessica Patel. He was planning on killing his wife since 2015. The 2 Million GBP life insurance was eyed on and he decided to move to Australia with his 'soulmate'.
Mitesh was facing trial after the death of his wife in their apartment. The wife had suffocated and was strangled to death. He did that with a 'supermarket plastic bag' said the court after deep investigation. The court found Mitesh Guilty of murdering his wife with exploitative intentions.
The accused had met his 'Boyfriend' in a dating app named Grindr. After several meet-ups they were inseparable. The court had given details of how Mitesh was constantly searching on the internet about, "I need to kill my wife", "insulin overdose", "plot to kill my wife, do I need a co-conspirator?", "hiring hitman UK" and "how much methadone will kill you?".
After he was found guilty on Monday, he will be sentenced to jail terms on Wednesday. The family members of the girl, Jessica Patel, who was a pharmacist were heartbroken after knowing the verdict of the court. In their words, they were reported by the PTI saying,
"She had simple dreams, all she ever wanted was to fall in love, have a family of her own and live happily ever after... The man we welcomed into our family, who promised to look after and protect her, betrayed her in every sense of the word, cheating her of her dreams, robbing her of her life and robbing us of her".
