Abusing the counterpart in cricket matches is no new thing and the same happened in the recent match of the Indian cricket team. Ishant Sharma got in an argument with Ravindra Jadeja. The argument went so far that two other cricketers had to get involved to solve the issue.
On the fourth day of the test match, when struck Nathon Lyon on the helmet and the play paused, Ishant and Jadeja got into a serious argument. The same would've gone unnoticed only if stump mics didn't record it. The recording goes by Ishant shouting at Jadeja to appeal not to wave hands but directly come and say to him. "Don’t wave your hand at me. If you want something, come to me and say it.”
The latter replied, "why are you talking so much?” The argument was sparked already when Ishant continued, " Don’t wave your hand at me. Don’t take out your anger on me. I’ll take your anger and shove it up your a**.” Jadeja was angry with the situations on the field and that is why was in not so good mood.
As the argument kept rising, KL Rahul and M. Shami interrupted them to solve the issue. Quite fortunately, the matter was resolved and things kept moving. Former Australian caption and now a commentator -Ricky Ponting said, "Who knows what they are talking about but it does seem pretty animated. There was lots of finger pointing. They were separated on a couple of occasions. They came back together again late and then Shami gets involved. He was just waiting at the top of his mark waiting to bowl. Things have, obviously, got a little bit heated between these two.”
A statement from the Indian team management is out and Channel 7 says, “With relation to vision aired on our coverage today, Indian team management has tonight told 7Cricket that the incident between Ishant Sharma and Ravindra Jadeja happened at the spur of the moment and management confirms that all is well between the two.”
