If there has to be a thing that entertains the most Indians, it has to be Bollywood; and if there has to be someone who rules Bollywood, it will Salman Khan. Son of the Indian film actor, producer and screenwriter, Salim Khan -Salman Khan. Having acted in around 120 movies and shows, Mr Khan has earned himself quite a reputation and a name that is almost always enough to attract an audience to the theatres. Forbes had declared Salman the second highest paid actor in Bollywood in 2017 and in 2018 also, the man has earned quite more than just fame.
Though fans of the biggest entertainer in Bollywood knows almost everything about him, it is a much less known fact that he had been given only 75 Rs as his first salary. "My first salary was, I think, about Rs 75. was dancing behind in some show in Taj hotel. One of my friends was dancing there so he took me (and I did it) just for fun," he said in an interview with PTI.
"Then it went up to Rs 750 for Campa Cola (a soft drink brand) and then it was Rs 1,500 for the longest time. Then I got paid Rs 31,000 for 'Maine Pyaar Kiya', which was then increased to Rs 75,000 later," he continued. “Have you seen a duck gliding smoothly in water? Does it ever look like it is paddling furiously underneath the surface? I don’t have to show that I am working very hard,” Salman had once said about the hard work he had done.
Reportedly, Salman now earns a sum of around Rs 50 crores from each movie. Besides his fee, he also takes some share of the profit, the movie earns which makes it a giant sum. He will soon be seen in 'Bharat' alongside Katrina Kaif; and will also involve in the projects of 'Dabangg 3' and 'Kick 2.'
