After so much of hype, we saw on literally every social media platform -‘Zero’ is finally released. Anand L Rai directed movie has the superstar -Shahrukh Khan as the main lead playing along with Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif. While the director is a known face of Bollywood and is critically acclaimed for his movies like Tanu Weds Manu and Raanjhana, the actors are the face of Indian cinema. With so much of charm leading a project, cinema lovers surely wait to see magic in theatres and therefore expect nothing but better. And besides the story, we watched in theatres there is a story behind the theatres as well.
Body double of Shahrukh -Mr Ashish Singh reveals that with the money he got for the movie, he wishes to buy a house for him and family. As per Dainik Bhaskar, Ashish says, "I have a dream since childhood, I used to do Ramlila in the village, and I decided to go for acting; I came to Delhi for school education and did many local plays for many years. On arriving in Mumbai, I met Mr Anand L Rai at the airport. Then he contacted me through a casting coordinator and gave me the first break in the Zero."
Ashish who is vertically challenged also claims that he was bullied for his height for years and that working in a film like Zero is a reply to all the bad phase he went through. "Their ridicule motivated me to do better in life. By the grace of God, my height became my biggest plus in life and took me to places that most people can only dream of. It was painful to bear all that mocking. Now, I am happy that those people treat me with respect and dignity," he states.
