The capital of the world’s second most populated country in the world, Delhi, is degrading with time in various aspects like pollution, and population. People are now forced to wonder if India needs a new national capital. Changing the country's capital is obviously not an easy job. With various legislations, provincial rules, norms and regulations well-framed and maintained from over a century, one call this a one-tap solution.
But first of all, the two reasons that triggered these impactful thoughts are pollution and over-population. Starting from the articles published by renowned Internation magazines to the memes on social media, the pollution problem is undeniable. Having such a horrific and unhealthy environment, it is definitely unfair to portray Delhi as the nation's capital.
With the utterly-low quality air and other basic necessities, the factors of sustenance have been badly affected and it already stained the picture of India in many terms. So, this change might bring down the population of the union territory. This may shrink traffic –which right now is causing problems, and can bring back the once-healthy atmosphere as well. The government may shift the capital to a state having less pollution and population, and same if not more facilities.

My top choices would be in India’s centre:India and Delhi having a great history and reputation to maintain, it might be uneasy to implement or raise the concern, but might be helpful in the long term.
Near Paradip in Odisha. Access to ports, fresh water and room for expansion. It has the basic infra necessary for a capital. Only concern is its ongoing industrialization might bring in pollution.
Near Bhedaghat in MP. Close to Narmada and serene environs of Mahadev hills. Plenty of history around. Jabalpur airport can be made into an international airport and other basic infra can be built.
