The city of Hyderabad is seeing a lot of developmental activities in recent years. The Hyderabad Metro Rail, Flyovers, GHMC Parks, Dedicated Dog Park, etc. With the recent win for the second term by the local political party, Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS), Chief Minister KCR, has already made plans ready to execute. Destined to improve the city to be more modern and equipped, along with being comfortable here are the plans.
The policies and sanctions are all set to rev up the city's infrastructure. The Telangana State Government is all geared up to scale the standards high this time. Having their minds on improving the basic civic amenities in the capital city, they have their views on World Class facilities.
Not neglecting the other districts in the State, this densely populated capital city is trying to be made resident friendly. New municipalities are also destined to get a face-lift. Talking about the City's new improvements, the government is all anxious even in their second term.
The Chief Minister has personally set a target by asserting Rs 50,000 Crore for creating a new world-class city in the next three years of time. When the image of a densely populated city comes to our mind, the basic yet very crucial aspects are highlighted. Underground Drainage, Street Lighting, Parks, Pavements and Roads.
With 68 Municipalities under the Party's win, there have already conducted two meetings with all its representatives. This was done to prepare a solid plan that rises up from grass root level. Apart from the age-old, GHMC, Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority(HMDA), newly created municipal bodies, the MA & UD departments have come together for a comprehensive micro level effective plan.
To complete the total upgradation there would be more flyovers, brand new skyways, stormwater drains, underground cables, firm classy roads, street lights, pavements, parks and many more. In the very words of a senior GHMC Official, "All of these form part of the plan to turn Hyderabad into Shanghai".
With individual costs at high levels, the total does sum up to a huge amount. The widening of Stormwater Drains to overcome the ever-recurring clogging of drains alone costs up to Rs 12,000 Crore. This and many other plans will soon be rolled out and executed within no time.
