The worldwide release of the movie, '2.0' is breaking all-time records of the Movie industry. Shot on par with the Hollywood standards, it is nowhere receding in its collections. The acting combination of Super Star Rajnikanth and Akshay Kumar in opposite roles, with Shankar's direction, is a feast for the audience.
The role of Rajnikanth is continued from the first version when it comes to the villain role, it was Akshay Kumar. His character is named, 'Pakshi Raj'. Name itself suggests that he controls the birds. The real 'King Of Birds' is our Indian Bird Man Dr Salim Ali.

The inspiration for a villain character, from a simple man who visioned for a Bird Paradise, is very new. Salim Ali is taken as the source behind the role of Akshay Kumar. The Birdman or the bird king in real life is Salim Ali himself. What a pick out of characters from real life! The real-life hero has inspired a Villain character in reel life.

Role of 'Pakshi Raj' is a very pessimistic man, who has cruelty filled in his mind. His revenge and lesson-teaching method is totally based on bird forms. But, in real life, Our Birdman is very different. Salim Moizuddin Abdul Ali, the Birdman of India was born on 12th November 1896. He has blissfully lived for 91 years and expired in the year 1987.
Salim was an Indian ornithologist and a naturalist. He often quotes saying that he got time to bird watch more when he lost his initial job. He then had found his true calling. Ali sir was one of the very first scientists to carry out systematic bird surveys in India and abroad. A type of surveys India never heard of till then.

The admirable research work is considered highly influential in the development of the subject of ornithology. Salim Ali in his childhood did attend college but could not receive any university degree. He was then sent to assist his brother in tungsten mining and timber who was working in Burma (now Myanmar). There too the young boy, Salim spent most of his time looking for birds.
Ali sir had then returned to Mumbai, started to study, this time in his favourite subjects. And he completed a University Degree Course in Zoology from St Xavier’s College. Later he joined a museum as a clerk. That position allowed him to carry on with his bird research.

The point which has turned his life was his observations put together in a compilation, in his Autobiography. 'The Fall of a Sparrow' is a huge compilation where he highlights the 'Yellow-throated Sparrow' Event fetched him his recognition.
Why did the villain role based on such a creative native man, who is associated with birds? The answer to which is, the story of the movie. It is based on the adverse effects of cell phone radiations on birds. Social Message!!
