Rising crime against women does not always restrict itself to people of a few categories. No matter from where the person originates from, no matter which class of society he comes from, there is no exception for this unruly behaviour against women. And women, on the other hand, are subjected to a normalised crime against them, with a scene of no other way to interact with her. An IAS Officer was also objectified.
Our national capital, New Delhi is not only the place where it has the lawmaking body of the country, The Parliament and has the highest judicial authority of India, The Supreme Court, but also tons of pollution, and hundreds of instances of crime against women.
None of these two's presence had enhanced the state of people living there. It just did not make any difference to any of the perpetrators. In a recent shameful incident that took place at the Saket District Court, an IAS Officer was misbehaved with by a group of advocates.
Posted in the State of Mizoram, the Indian Administrative Officer had visited the Saket district court on an Afternoon, when this incident took place. From the batch of 2014, this dynamic officer has also served as the SDM of Mehrauli in Delhi, earlier.
The officer could sense the wrongs of the interaction and the visit to the court, had immediately filed a police complaint against all the advocates in the group. Responding to this the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Mr Vijay Kumar said that she was misbehaved with as soon as she was stepping out of the courtroom.
In her complaint, the IAS Officer also stated that one of them had even molested her and demanded immediate action on all of them accordingly. Soon after this complaint was made the accused were bound to be slapped with the relevant cases pertaining to the Sections of the Indian Penal Code(IPC).
As proof, even the Court's CCTV Surveillance footage was also taken into consideration and the identities of the accused are being examined. A Delhi Police Official who was also familiar with the instance has given these insights.
