It has been more than ten days since the Pulwama Tragedy and a day, since our Indian Air Force retaliation. The tragedy thus occurred when a CRPF convoy vehicle was made to collide with another vehicle with explosive material in it. This has caused a massive impact on the convoy vehicle and there were 40 casualties of our army men. The investigations around the cause and reason are going on.
On one hand, there is the retaliation of the Indian Air Force with the new Surgical Strike, and on the other hand, there are internal investigations going on. These investigations made by the National Investigation Agency (NIA), have revealed that the car with the explosives, was bought only for this purpose.
'Maruti Eeco' was the car used by the driving culprit, and it was just bought 10 days before the planned February 14th assault. The owner of the car is evading arrest and the police are on a lookout for him. The Department of Forensics and the engineers of the Maruti company were together in cracking this.
The investigators with the required help have traced the owner with the help of the Car's Chassis Number as well as the Engine Number. And it was seen bought by a Sajjat Bhat, a member of JeM 10 days before the planned assault. With it, the investigators have traced the original owner of the vehicle too.
Sajjad Bhat's address has been traced to "...Sajjad Bhat, son of Mohammad Maqbool Bhat, a resident of Bijbehara, district Anantnag... A student of Siraj-ul-Uloom, Shopain". The investigators along with the Jammu and Kashmir Police have raided his house on February 23rd, but he was not to be found.
The previous six owners of the car are also being traced down to check their involvement in the Pulwama Tragedy and the JeM group. As of now, there seemed to be no connection found. Other in detail investigation is going on and there are 12 people who are being interrogated regarding their involvement in the matter.
