The recent Isha Ambani and Anand Piramal's wedding has been in the limelight for over a month for its mini-economy like a budget. Their wedding venue, the bridal attire, the sangeet of Bollywood celebrities and the upcoming third generation Ambani wedding will always shine in the limelight.
Dirubai Ambani the great man who founded the Reliance group does not just have two sons with his wife Kokilaben Ambani. They both had four children altogether. Two of them are the Ambani brothers and the other two are their low-key sisters.
Nina Kothari and Deepti Salgaonkar are the two sisters who often keep a low profile at the Ambani names. Out of the four Deepti is the younger one, and the one who had a cute interesting love story. She fell in love with the son of the Salgaonkar family and they both got married.
The family of Deepti and Duttaraj (Raj) Salgaonkar have since then been staying in Goa. Their love story starts in the early years of the 1980s. The two families were family friends. They both were living in the same Usha Kiran building. Salgaonkar's on the 14th floor and the Ambani's on the 22nd floor.
In the year 1984 Raj's father Vasudev passed away. And it was Mr Dirubai Ambani who was there for him and was like a surrogate father to him. The Ambani brothers were also young and of the same age group as Raj and soon they became much closer friends.
It was during these times when Raj got to meet and see Deepti very often than usual. He would say that he considered Deepti to be the most talented and the most beautiful woman he had ever met in his life. The connection was mutual and the duo clicked together and fell in love instantly.
The lovely couple were together in a relationship for 5 years and have tied the knot in 1983. The couple moved to their native place in Goa that is their luxurious Hira Vihar Villa in Dona Paula Beach. Post marriage Deepti decided to be a homemaker and adopted the Goan culture and style.
