Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) successfully conducted written examination for the recruitment of Assistant Executive Engineer (AEE) on 17th Feb 2019. APPSC AEE Result 2019 Merit List:

The A.P. Public Service Commission came into existence on 1st November 1956 with the formation of the State of Andhra Pradesh. Before this, there was Andhra Public Service Commission in the Andhra State and Hyderabad Public Service Commission in the Hyderabad State. Andhra Service Commission came into existence only in 1953 after the bifurcation of composite Madras State into Andhra and Madras States.

On the eve of formation of Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission, Andhra Public Service Commission was functioning with a Chairman and two Members and Hyderabad Public Service Commission was functioning with one Member. Hence, A.P. Public Service Commission was constituted with a Chairman and 3 Members. With increasing workload, Government enhanced the Members as five in the year 1981 and later to Chairman and 7 Members in the year 1983. The government again reviewed the strength in 1994 and enhanced it to Chairman and 9 Members. This is the present strength.

It conducts various examinations for the recruitment of eligible candidates in different departments. This year it has released notification for filling up AEE posts and the candidates who had written the exam can check the results from the official website.

APPSC AEE Results 2019:

APPSC released notification for the recruitment of A.E.Es. in PR&RD Department ENC PR&RD (Engineering Wing)-66 posts, A.E.Es. in W. R. Department. ENC (WR) – 50 posts, and AEEs in TR&B Department ENC(R&B) -25 posts. A large number of eligible and interested candidates applied and appeared for the exam. The APPSC has scheduled the AEE Mains examination on 29th and 30th April 2019. Candidates shortlisted in the paper 1 will be considered for the mains examination. Candidates who clears the paper 1, paper 2, and paper 3 will be finally shortlisted for the document verification/interview round.
