In a global war on the privacy of people, Facebook is standing tall in committing its mistakes of leakage. The rectification and the usage of users data without prior permission of the user is disastrous in nature. It is known to read our browsing history, our search words etc. This information is thus given to other fellow apps like Netflix, Amazon etc. The Facebook CEO and Founder, Mark Zuckerberg, has to mend his ways and update his privacy and security policies of the social media platform.
In a new attempt to allow random people to pursue research, Facebook has opened a new app. People as young as 13 years are being paid to enlist themselves in this program of Facebook. Paying them 20$ a month that would be Rs1,400, to open and install the 'Facebook Research' App.
An extra amount will also be given for referrals given to others. After installation of this app on one's phone, The social media giant will now have "Limitless access" to users data. Which was earlier not available to them. The penetration of the media into personal lives, and outrightly breaching the trust of the people is brutal.
Once the app is installed, the information to which Facebook has access to is:
The ones involved or registered in the scheme of 'research' are supposed to be always in stealth mode and not to reveal any details about this agreement to anyone. 'Confidential' is what they have used for this. And the penetration and breach are such that, even if the user purchases an item from the Amazon app, they must share a screenshot of it after delivery.
A BBC Reporter has registered himself to this scheme as a 14-year-old. And the app did nothing strong in proving that the kid would have had his parent's consent in involving so. The attacks on users' privacy are increasing by every post. Hope Facebook amends its flawed privacy policies.

- Location history and search history of the user
- The amount of data that is used by the user in running all these
