Clothes have evolved from simple modest covering of our bodies to a fashion trend and a style statement. From designer to weird pieces of combinations we get to see them on ramp shows. No offence to anyone, that is the level of creativity we commoners can't attempt. But, here we are talking about one such Sherwani, which made a father-in-law furious and helped a cheating man get caught.
A new father-in-law who just got his daughter married to a man was all tears with both joy and sadness. He was returning home from the traditional 'Vidaai' ritual, where the parents of the girl escort the newly-wedded bride to her in-laws home. A very emotional scene.
The father-in-law sat down going through his phone responding to the congratulatory messages he has been receiving. There was a particular picture which he came across. That had his now Son-in-law wearing the same Sherwani but was with another girl.
Already furious about this picture, he stayed observing the picture and realised it was a real one and it indeed did not have his daughter there. He was now filled up with extreme anger and rushed to the groom's house. It was 2 am in the morning, he had a lot to talk to this man, time did not matter.
With thousands of questions thrown at the groom, the groom thus revealed that he had been married already. He married his girlfriend about 6 months ago in a secret marriage. Even his parents did not know about this first marriage of their son.
The groom did not reveal about this first marriage because his parents were against that marriage. When his parents were arranging him another marriage, the groom did not feel like telling them the truth. He was married to his girlfriend who stays in the same locality.
The father of the new bride rushed to the nearest Police Station and tried to file an FIR. But, they struck it down to a Non-cognisable case (NC). The father then approached their family-friend BJP politician who intervened and the FIR was thus registered.
The groom is now absconding, and search is going on. A case is filed under Section 420 (cheating), 406 (criminal breach of trust) and 495 (concealment of former marriage) of the IPC.
