The 2014 Lok Sabha polls will be held in 9 phases from April 7, 2014 to May 12, 2014 . All Naxal-hit areas will be covered in a single day across India .
Rajasthan will have two poll days, 17th and 24th April .
Jharkhand will have three poll days 10th,17th,24th April.
Uttar Pradesh and Bihar will be going to polls on the same days, April 10th, April 17th, April 24th, April 30th, May 7th, May 12th.
Maharashtra will have three poll day 10th, 17th, 24 April.
Uttar Pradesh will have 6 Poll days in UP, April 10th, April 17th, April 24th, April 30th, May 7th, May 12th.
Chandigarh will have one poll day 10th April, Dadra and Nagar Haveli one poll day 30th April .
Tripura will have two polls days 7th April and 12th April .
Nagaland will have one poll day 9th April.
Bihar will have six poll days 10th April,17th April,24th April,30th April,7th May & 12th May .
Andhra Pradesh will have two poll days 30th April and May 7th
Counting will be held on 16th May, counting will be over in one day and the results will be anounced on the same day. Term of 15th Lok Sabha ends on May 31, terms of AP, Odisha & Sikkim assemblies also come to an end . Approx 9,30,000 polling stations in the country, 12% more than the last election .
