Being the most successful in professional life and in our personal life does not exclude us from suffering. Be it internal physical suffering or mental suffering. We have many prominent Bollywood celebrities who are battling cancer and are undergoing treatments. We pray for their speedy recovery. But we are here to talk about mental suffering. One such openly known example is our Deepika Padukone.
Deepika's name is in the news coupled with her hubby and a quirky star Ranveer Singh. Post their wedding they have made many appearances where they are the most talked couple. Their combination just awes people and grabs the attention of various audiences.
Wayback in the year 2014, Deepika was diagnosed with clinical depression. She has been open to it post her recovery. She had great movies with her at that time, and Ranveer was also with her. Despite all these, she needed medical attention and intensive counselling to get out of this suffering.

Now she has become a better person, fully recovered, all with the help of immediate medical attention and required care. All this was done with a hand in hand support form very near and dear. Prior to her wedding with Ranveer Singh Deepika had penned down a hand-written letter regarding her Depression and struggle.
Elle India had posted the letter on their Instagram Page. After battling her depression, and fought her way to success, she decided to help others as well. In a returning of the favour, she had established an organisation for the Depressed, named Live Love Laugh Foundation.

In an interview with the Hindustan Times, Deepika was reported saying, "There were days when I would feel okay, but at times, within a day, there was a roller-coaster of feelings. Finally, I accepted my condition. The counselling helped, but only to an extent. Then, I took medication, and today I am much better", accompanied by her mother Ujjala who was the one who detected the problem and consulted a psychiatrist.
