The 2015 Jasleen Kaur and Sarvjeet Singh Harassment Case have now turned 3 years. The girl has earlier accused Sarvjeet of harassing her and passing lewd comments on her on the road. She had clicked pictures of the man on his bike and posted it on her Facebook with its narration following up. She had not put up the exact words he said, as they were lewd.
Three years past this issue, their case has not reached any conclusion. All these years Jasleen was absent for court proceedings, as she went for her higher studies to Canada. In her place, her father was attending the hearings. But, the condition of the accused Sarvjeet was deteriorating over time. He was facing unfair judgements and shrewd labels.

The man who had another version of the incident pleaded the court, expressed his versions and feelings on Facebook and gained public popularity. His voice was not labelled anymore, and the whole blame shifted to the girl. His career was now nowhere yet hers was peacefully set in Canada. Eyewitness have claimed that she was the one who was ranting and blaming the man for a made-up reason.
Upon coming back, Jasleen on knowing the rise in popularity and sympathy over Sarvjeet and now she being blamed opened up. In her words, " My silence shouldn’t be considered my weakness because I will fight until the case reaches a logical conclusion. I also apologize to the court for my absence, due to 'academic commitments' as my reason".
Jasleen also added, " I am not making any unnecessary comment as I wanted the law to take its route". Talking about public sympathy on Sarvjeet, she said, " He has used my absence to gain social sympathy for himself and so he made wrong statements in front of the media".
On the other hand, Sarvjeet has criticised her for taking almost three years to record her statement which has caused unnecessary damage and dragged the case beyond requirements. Hoping this would reach a fair conclusion.
