A big fish in the Indian fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector, Baba Ramdev led Patanjali Ayurved Limited is about to bring another big change in the country. The brand is to set up mega Food Park at Chinnaraopalli village in Vizianagaram district of Andhra Pradesh and will give employment to over 33,000 people. The food park with an investment of Rs 634 crores will be spread across 172.84 acres.
From such an enormous investment, Rs 45.20 crore will be spent only on a single anchor unit for extracting juice, having a capacity of 1,500 tons a day. The park is anticipated to process vegetables and fruits in a huge quantity and would be helping farmers and workers as well. The park will have facilities like blast freezing and grading packing facility for cold storage, spices, and cereals. Crops like sesame, black gram, and jowar will also be processed in the unit.
With the park coming to existence, farmers shall get fairer prices for their crops and supply might dramatically increase. Providing employment to over 33,000 people, the state shall be benefited duly and the country shall experience a hike in its income. Founder of the game changer company Patanjali, Baba Ramdev met Mr N. Chandrababu Naidum possibly to discuss the heavily awaited project.
Patanjali has been a game changer ever since its first product launched. Going with the idea to benefit the country’s name and pocket, the company has always implemented its plans well. From the introduction of its own pure flour in the market to bringing its Atta Noodles into existence, consumers have always felt safe and protected while buying its products. But with an investment of an enormous amount like Rs 634 crores, there exists risk if consumers do not welcome the project well.
