I used Tinder only once. Got a match after a few days of using it. Just after a few chats we exchanged our contact number and started talking over the phone. For a moment I thought this was going too quick but I decided to go with the flow.
It was neither love nor lust. Just a casual meet as a friend.
After a few days, we met at a restaurant at Connaught Place. Damn, she was beautiful, just like her pic. on Tinder. (I guess this is rare)
First meet
We were talking about our profession, life, politics and everything. For a moment I thought things could go further.
We ordered a few beers and snacks. Later she said one of her friends will also be joining us. I was fine with that. Moments later her male friend arrives. Now it was a bit awkward. Still, we were sitting and having a conversation.
Both of them ordered more beer and snacks. Let me tell you, I had only one beer and they were enjoying the feast. As I went to pee, they ordered more food. I was surprised to see the table full of snacks. They were eating as if there was no tomorrow.
I asked for one more beer and that's it.
After a couple of hours, she said they have to go shopping and were getting late. I took the liberty to ask for the bill. It was INR 5,750/- to be precise including tax (funny I still remember the amount).
I told them lets split the bill. Both of them were looking at each other now. Said they were short on money. (Well you have to go shopping and now you’re short on money). She said I should pay the bill since I am a man and it’s basic etiquette when you’re with a girl.
Yes, you’re right. I paid the bill and they left.
Both of them had a funny smile on their face all this time.
But before leaving, she asked me “when are we meeting again ?”. I said “very soon”, with a smile.
Somewhere I felt cheated without even being in a relationship.
Second meet
I was still talking to her over the phone for a few days as I was looking for a chance to meet again.
I asked her to spend upcoming Saturday evening with me and asked her to bring the same friend along. This time I decided the location. It was “MyBar Headquarters”, one of the expensive pubs in Delhi.
We reached there by 7:30 in the evening. Damn, she was looking gorgeous. Honestly, anyone could have fallen for her at the first sight that evening. She looked just like this -

We sat there and ordered a beer bucket and snacks. The music was loud and moments later all three of us were dancing.
As we got tired I asked them to order anything they want from the menu while I use the washroom. I told them it might take me a few extra minutes than usual.
As I came out of the washroom after 5 mins., I saw both of them still placing the order. It seemed like a big order.
The place was crowded, the music was loud and it was easy for me to sneak out of there. Man, hell I was excited that moment.
Time - 21:00 hrs.
I booked Uber while I was in the washroom. The cab was waiting for me as I walked out of the pub.
I boarded the cab, blocked her number and called one of my close friends. I reached at his home with 6 pints of his favourite beer “Corona”.
I shared the course of event with him. We were laughing like idiots that night.
Ping - A message popped-up on Tinder
It was her. She wrote hell lot of abusive words to me. I was just enjoying the moment.
I replied, “I still love you, baby.. hahahahaha”.
Later I deleted all my pictures from Tinder, blocked her and uninstalled it.
This one experience was enough for me.
