Ayurveda is considered a traditional medicine originated many years ago in the Indian Subcontinent. Considered as the Alternative to medical Prescription this field has gained a lot of Global audiences too. Following the method of Ayurveda on a daily basis is not a hard practice. The simplest form of it can be chosen to get the maximum benefits.

The foods we are going to state here do not replace our prescribed medicines but can improve our immunity, detox our body, and enhance the overall physical and mental health of our body.

1. Amla- 'Usiri', 'Indian Gooseberry'

Amla is believed to have been dropped from the 'amrut' or 'Amrit', which has the immense ability to cure any disease. The dried and full fresh fruits of this are used often. Full of the essential Vitamin C, much-needed anti-oxidants is a source of Iron and Calcium.

This combination of useful minerals enables it to fight Aging-related issues much better. Better eyesight, glowing skin, stronger and shinier hair, with improved immunity is what this tiny fruit has to offer. Better digestion and efforts to lose weight are also aided.

2. Tulsi- Holy Basil

Acts as a natural stimulant both to the mind and body, it helps reduce the stress and anxiety levels. Also improves the immunity levels of the body by constant consumption. The very dangerous blood sugar levels and cholesterol are maintained and controlled by this plant. Outward usage of Tulsi improves the skin, gets rid of acne, treats any worm infections, rashes, itchiness etc.

3. Ashwagandha- 'Indian Ginseng'

The root powder of this plant is the most used. Effectively helps relieve stress, anxiety and fatigue. Blood pressure and cholesterol levels are kept at equilibrium with its use. Risk of heart disease is reduced by constant consumption. This special root has the power to boost the male testosterone hormone and increase the potency among men. And would not induce this hormone in females.

4. Ginger-

Ginger has amazing anti-inflammatory properties in it. Improving the Appetite, enhancing the ability of digestion this helps us in many ways. any intestinal pain, abdominal discomfort, bloating due to gas, and other gastric disturbances are cured.

5. Turmeric-

Anti-0fungal and anti-bacterial properties to their fullest. Skin problems are treated the most by turmeric. Body detox is done, Diabetic relief can be obtained by reducing the blood sugar levels in the body. Consumed with milk, it has a great benefit to the body overall.
