Police have seized weapons from RSS office in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala in a raid. (Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh) RSS is an Indian right-wing, Hindu nationalist and backed by the strongest political party of India -Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP.) Our prime minister -Shri Narendra Singh Modi is often found appreciating or backing RSS across the globe. The organisation is also popular for making controversies for opposing Muslims in order to make the country -A Hindu Rashtra. Protests are just another project included in their worklist. Reportedly, the organisation -RSS and the party workers of BJP are on opposing the decision of the court to allow every woman an entry in Sabarimala temple. Consequently, the country is witnessing protests and harms of public property. Police recently found weapons from the office of RSS in Thiruvananthapuram after processing a raid.
"Swords, knives, daggers, wooden rods and sack of granites were seized from the RSS office. They had also stored a chemical used in country bombs," Nedumangad Sub Inspector Anil Kumar told TNM. The raid was done after the probe on the incident on January 3 when country bombs were thrown against Nedumangad police station. Reportedly, around 5 people were injured in the incident and an RSS worker -identified as Praveen- was spotted throwing the bombs against the police station, and the man is missing.
"The raid was conducted on a tipoff that Praveen would come to the RSS office," Anil Kumar said further. Weapons were discovered from Praveen's room as well. While two BJP-RSS workers were arrested on Wednesday for attacking a police officer, Praveen is nowhere to find till now.
The chief minister of Kerala Mr Pinarayi Vijayan has earlier said “The RSS is responsible for the violence that the state has never witnessed before... It is desperate to gain a foothold and resorting to dirty tricks of every kind."
