The much-awaited movie Mr. Majnu starring Akhil Akkineni in the lead role released today i.e; 25th January 2019. The movie is touted to be a romantic drama and Nidhi Agarwal, Savyasachi fame playing the female lead role. Akhil was last seen in "Hello" which was action-thriller and did reasonably well at Box-Office. Izabelle Leite, Naga Babu, Subbaraju, Rao Ramesh, Jayaprakash, Pavitra Lokesh, Sithara, Priyadarshi Pullikonda, Vidyullekha Raman and Ro Ashika are playing supporting characters.

The film directed by Venky Atluri and produced by B. V. S. N. Prasad under Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra. The music for this movie is given by SS Thaman. All songs are penned by Sri Mani. The songs which were released earlier had received a good response from the audience.

Synopsis:

A charming playboy (Akhil As Vikky)who has never had a serious relationship finds himself in a spot of bother when he finally meets the right girl (Nidhi as Nikky). Will they end up together? Or will his fear of commitment affect their relationship?

Mr Majnu Review:

Akhil Akkineni attracted the audience with his really cool and charm performance. After Tholiprema Venky Atluri succeeded in the freshly packed love story however the story is predictable. Nidhi Agarwal as Nikky justified her role. The first half of the movie is good whereas the second half is lengthy.
