The Pulwama tragedy on the 14th of February 2019, took the Indian nation by a shocker. The harsh move against or CRPF jawans who were not at the frontline and who were not prepared is an act out of cowardice. All over India, people are flowing the families of the Martyrs with condolences, sympathies and financial help. Many celebrities and worldwide leaders have also supported India in this and were totally against the act of fear-instigators.
The helping hands are coming forward from every nook and corner of the nation from tiny to giant sums. But this story of a woman who is now no more is very beautiful and filled with pride. A beggar woman has donated her Rs6.61 lakhs of savings to the Martyrs families Posthumously.
Named Nandini Sharma, this beggar woman donated her lakhs of savings in her account to the welfare fund of the CRPF Pulwama Martyrs. A native of Ajmer, this woman has reportedly met with death in August 2018. Before her demise, she had two people to safeguard her money in her account.
The two nominated trustees were thoroughly instructed by the woman that after her demise, the money must only be used for the welfare of the nation and its people. It was through begging and wandering on streets she collected and saved this kind of amount.
The trustees thus found this a good opportunity and donated her savings to the Martyrs Fund. And after this donation, the nation came to know the humble story of the woman. The world was cruel to her to have made to live a life on alms by people, but she insisted to utilise it for the welfare of the same.
A story worth reading and one worth getting inspired from. Do comment on what do you have to say about this.
