It wouldn't be wrong if Kangana is said to be the favourite actress of controversies. Every now and then the actress issues statements that spark a lot of questions. Kangana is famous for bashing Karan for promoting nepotism and taking on other big celebrities as well. This time, it is none other than the director of her own of film Manikarnika. Director Krish who famous for making movies like NTR had collaborated to make a film on Rani Laxmi Bai and decided to cast Kangana Ranaut in the same. Things did not go well between them and the director decided to quit the project and got engaged in his other commitments.
The decision of Krish to quit the film made it quite an issue and things went all wrong. Kangana then decided to direct the film further by herself but things were not gulped down easily. Actor Sonu Sood who was playing a pivotal role in the film also decided to quit and refused to work under Kangana.
The controversy sparked headlines one after another as the director Krish and actors Kangana and Sonu came openly to speak on the matter. Kangana claimed that Sonu quit the project because he was not ready to work under a 'woman' director while the actor called the remarks false and criticised Kangana's decision.
Kangana's sister took it to Twitter to share the actress's chat with Krish claiming that Kangana is disturbed by all the controversies surrounding the film.

"Kangana is very disturbed about constant conspiracies and public attacks, that’s why she sent this to me from Germany,” Rangoli wrote in another tweet. While discussing the success of Manikarnika Krish had previously said, "At the end of the day it is my baby... I am relieved that the grandeur vision and scale that I imagined for the film remains intact." The director refuse to accept Kangana as the primary director of the movie.
Days after the incident, Krish finally opened up and went saying that 'She made Silver, I made Gold'. He was referring to the part he shot for the movie.
On the other hand, the crew and cast of the movie also made their views public. Actress Mishti Chakravarty alleged that Krish wanted to complete patchwork for Manikarnika but he was not "welcomed back to the sets." The Indian Express quoted her as saying, "He wanted to come back and complete the patchwork but till then it was decided here that the film would be presented in a different way and which character would do what. He wasn't welcomed back. He wanted to come back, but he wasn't welcome on sets."
Meanwhile, KV Vijayendra Prasad, who wrote the film's story and screenplay, told Pinkvilla: "Both, Krish and Kangana, have worked equally hard on the film. If Krish has done a good job, so has Kangana."
