'Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi', the story of the warrior queen Jhansi Laxmi Bai who has a major role in the rebellion of 1857 against the British. The movie has 'Queen' movie star Kangana Ranaut playing the lead role of Jhansi Rani. The movie is in the theatres and is getting a great response from the audience for its portrayal and the cast's acting performances. But, the movie is in the headlines for other reasons too.

When the press asks these questions to the bold actress Kangana, she has stern and sometimes befitting replies to all their questions and allegations. Sonu Sood was initially part of the film. He had quit the movie in its initial stages, citing some date and schedule clashes.
But, there are other reasons which are conspiring against him quitting. Many tell that he quit the movie as he just could not work with the adamant and harsh director that she is, Ms Kangana. Even the original director who quit the movie for another project also has said that he would not like to work with her again.
Misti Chakraborty whose major scenes were edited took to Twitter in expressing this. Followed by Sonu Sood quitting reasons and this even supported by Krish, the earlier director. Who said that "Sonu justified by quitting the movie".
To which Kangana replies to Sonu Sood by saying, " He does not have any right to speak on the film. His contract had been terminated and he lost the right to talk about it". She also alleges that all these claims and extra focus on her behaviour are deep-rooted in their cause to defame and belittle her.
People who are not associated with the movie and its making are all commenting on it, and having a say on it. This is what she does not really politely approve of.
