Staging an abduction or a mishap is never a fun thing to do. It is not recommended to do at any circumstances. There is a history of events where various people have staged and lied about being abducted and being robbed to avoid gluttony or even as a simple excuse for being late to practice. In such an instance of faking one's own abduction or missing a businessman in Delhi was caught after he did the same drama.
The man from the National Capital City took the help from his colleague, Kamal in staging and acting up the whole scene. They both have successfully fooled their boss and robbed him of huge money. The man has then used that money to get himself a huge house in the capital city itself.
The events which followed after the story of fooling ended were very suspicious. The accused were soon arrested by the police and all the money was then returned to its rightful earner. The incident took place in the area of Karol Bagh in the city of Delhi, India.
According to the investigation done by the police, led by Deputy Commissioner Central, Mandeep Randhawa there were many details which have surfaced. In their investigation, they found out that one of the accused, named Harender has gone to an extent of having a band-aid to his forehead to make believe an injury.
The man surely did not have any injury underneath the bandage. All this has started when the employer of the two accused named Neeraj Goel handed over Rs 50 Lakh in cash to Harender to take it to a godown in Karol Bagh. The man with the bag did not return even after an hour.
Goel being suspicious called up Harender who did not pick up his call, but later claimed that he was abducted and robbed of the money. Soon Goel called the police and informed about the robbery. Harender claimed that he was robbed at gunpoint by four men, beaten up and later dumped on the road.
Police investigated Harender, found his story, his injuries and his words very suspicious and did not believe a word he was saying. Soon, Harender confessed that he planned it with Kamal.
