The Sunday T20 two series match against the Australian cricket team had its first match in the port city of Visakhapatnam or Vizag. The Indian Cricket Team wore Black Armbands to the match as a mark of respect for the martyred jawans in the Pulwama Tragic Incident. The match began as usual, with the ceremonial toss. The toss was followed by playing the National Anthems of both the nations.
It was after this and before the beginning of the match, the players and the whole stadium was meant to observe Two-minute silence for the martyred Soldiers. This was paying homage to the 40 CRPF officials who lost their lives while standing for the nation of India.
But, it was during this homage silence, the crowd of Vizag was not decent. Yes, we have in front of us the iconic Indian Team we all fantasize about. It had MS Dhoni, Virat Kohli, Shikhar Dhawan, etc standing on the field, in silence.
The crowd did not seem to consider the fact that it was a homage. They kept on shouting, cheering, talking etc whilst the two-minute silence. It was not a good gesture by the crowd, as it attracted very bad views on them. The Captain of the Indian Team, Virat Kohli shushed the crowd with a gesture.
Despite this, the crowd still kept cheering, and Virat's response, in fact, resulted in more cheers from the crowd. I know how crazy fans can get sometimes, but these reactions from the crowd were not healthy. The twitter had responded in this matter, and it is not funny this time.
