All was well and good until our Indian Government has declared on February 27th that one of our Aircraft IAF Pilot went missing. The whole nation was devastated and scared to have to be witnessing another life lost. But, he was found alive, by the Pakistani Army when he fell on the other side of the Line Of Control, in the Pakistan area. This happened when our Indian MIG 21, flown by Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman was shot down by Pakistani forces.
After which, a video of our wing commander surfaced, in which he was badly bruised, the whole nation was standing on one single statement, "Bring Him Back". Following which our Wing Commander was seen in another video where he was cleaned of his wounds, very well, talking about himself, and sipping tea.
This video has been a huge relief to the whole nation, knowing that our Air Force man is being treated well. It is still not the end of the matter, as our man is still in Pakistan, and with the Pakistan Army. So, this was still a bone of contention.
Not going against the Geneva Conventions, Pakistan Prime Minister has declared that our man will be released. Upon his release, the whole nation is welcoming him with grandeur. From the airport to the twitter posts, it is all ' #Abhinandan is Back'.
