This story is going massively viral on the Internet. We are very much aware of what fatherly love is and how extent it can go. No one can love a girl the way her father does. Every father wants best for their princess and wants someone to come into her life and keep her as happy as they have kept her for so long.
It first came to limelight after it got posted on a website. Coming to the story, the man in the pictures is a Thai multi-millionaire who has offered a load of money AND his entire estate to whoever marries his 26-year-old daughter. Yes, you read that right but all he’s asking is for the man to ‘work hard and make her happy’, like every father in the world.
Getting into the details, Arnon Rodthong, 58, owns a thriving durian fruit farm in Chumphon province, southern Thailand. Karnsita, his 26-year-old daughter helps him run the family business. But now he is worried for her future and has promised 10 million Thai Baht (£240,000 / $300,000) to the man she marries. Well unlike India, in Thailand a man normally pays a dowry for his future wife but Rodthong also said he’s willing to waive this tradition for his daughter and is ready to pay dowry for her girl.
He said : “I want someone to take care of my business and make it last. I don’t want a person with a bachelor’s, or master’s or philosopher’s degree. I want a diligent man. I just want someone with a hard-working attitude. That’s all.”
Further added, “As soon as I have an in-law, I will give up all my assets to him.”
Talking about his daughter, Karnsita speaks English and Chinese fluently. She is a virgin and has never had a boyfriend and has confirmed she is still single. She is overwhelmed by the response she is getting. However, she has hinted that her future husband might have to work a bit harder at getting the money from her dad, as she’d apparently like to use it herself for ‘plastic surgery in Korea’. She also said :
“I first found out about my father’s post when my friend’s showed me. I was surprised but I can see the funny side to it, too. It is true that I am still single. If I have to get married with someone, I only want him to be a diligent and good person who loves his family.”
