John Abraham who has become the voice and the face of Bollywood when it comes to action movies that also serve with good stories. John is celebrating the success of his latest -Satyamev Jayate and recently has issued a statement that sparked the controversies. The man claims that he does not dance at weddings for money and find it demeaning and bashed those who do stupid things for publicity.
In a recent interview John was asked about the upcoming of social media as a role in their career and hierarchy in the field, to which he said, "As an actor, you are here to show your craft. How much money do you want to mint? Why is it important to be on a list of the highest earners? What about the audience you are robbing with crap you put out? I have always worked hard for credibility, I get that, I move on quietly. I wish we had more actors cut out from the same fabric."
The list of top earners in Bollywood includes big names like Salman Khan and Shahrukh Khan who have been failing to deliver hit movies for quite a time. The actor was also asked about the way he feels when actors are trolled on social media. "There is but aren't celebrities also asking for it, wearing funny clothes outside airports and doing funny things. You can only be laughed at if you decide to be a clown in the circus. It's your choice. I'm not an actor who dances at shows or weddings for money. I find it demeaning. I'm not saying that I'm right, but I wouldn't do it, ever," said John.
The actor is busy with his new movie titled 'Batla House' which will hit the theatres on 15 August 2019. The film also casts Ravi Kishan -and its first look posters are already trending the on internet.
